During my recent business trip to the lovely Ponte Do Porto, I had the pleasure of staying at Hostal O Pincho, which proved to be an ideal pit stop while navigating the scenic Camino dos Faros. The larger-than-expected room was a delightful surprise-complete with a comfy bed and large windows offering a view of the river, perfect for enjoying a quiet evening after a tough day of exploration. The convenience of the location cannot be overstated; situated nearly halfway through Etapa 6, it made splitting the lengthy trek straightforward and enjoyable. With several cafes and restaurants just a stone's throw away, I appreciated the simple yet hearty breakfast offering that fueled my days filled with coral reef conservation discussions. The owner was incredibly welcoming, and the room was impeccably clean, creating a cozy atmosphere that felt like home. I definitely recommend Hostal O Pincho for anyone looking to blend relaxation with a touch of adventure in a charming village setting.
